Inventory Resource Criticality

CMP platform allows administrators/users to specify the criticality of cloud inventory resources that are discovered while on boarding the cloud account. This will be further used by CMP portal to depict resource criticality distribution in Governance dashboard.

In order to specify the Resource Criticality rules. navigate to Governance & Security>Inventory>Resource Criticality

Click Create Rule button.

Open

Specify Rule Name, Description (optional), Resource Criticality threshold.

Open

Select the desired Cloud Account and Resource Types (These will be populated after selecting Cloud Account and will vary for Azure and AWS)

You can also specify the Tags for which you wish this resource criticality rule to be applicable (Optional- Tags are discovered and are pre-populated for convenience).

Click ‘Create’ to create the specified Rule.

You can anytime edit and delete the rules.

To Edit a Rule, Click open a rule, make desired changes and click 'Save Changes'

Based on the specified rules, Resource Criticality graph will be populated in Governance Dashboard.
