Cloud Account Management
Overview
Cloud Account Management (CAM) provides access to infrastructure, and a platform to Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform to manage your cloud account. Our CAM service allows you to access your Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). This guide is intended for HyperCloudTM Platform (HCP) Cloud Administrators. If you are a public cloud administrator who manages and administrates public cloud environments, you'll be able to understand the simplicity with which you can manage and monitor your public cloud accounts. Once you've added your cloud accounts to the HCP portal, you will be able to:
analyze your cloud spends and usage,
tag your resources,
enforce resource compliance per your rules and policies, and
set up guard rails.
Cloud Account Management
We've listed the steps you need to perform to configure your cloud accounts in the HCP portal. On-boarding your cloud accounts is a prerequisite for all features on the HCP portal except for the cloud planning feature. Your HCP portal comes with built-in multi-tenancy and cloud analytics capabilities. Our intuitive user interface lets you manage your cloud resources by breaking technological barriers for managing multiple cloud providers from one place. HCP enables you to manage the following cloud resources :
Enforce Governance and Security.
Visualize the cost and usage patterns.
Recommend ways to achieve cloud resource.
Optimize and provide service orchestration.
The HCP portal can manage the following public cloud providers:
Amazon AWS
Master Account
Member Account (Linked Account)–Resource optimization available only in the master account.
Standalone
Microsoft Azure: Non-CSP –Enterprise or Pay as you go (PAYG) account
Google Cloud Account
