Overview
You can configure Governance and Security Settings like:
Intervals for performing a Resource Discovery
Automate Incident Reporting by integrating your Cloud Management Platform (CMP) with ServiceNow and JIRA
Resource Discovery
The Cloud Management Platform (CMP) lets you define the intervals for discovering resources on your provider.
To define the resource discovery interval (in minutes) for an account:
Login to your CMP account.
Navigate to Governance & Security > Compliance and Security > Settings > Click Resource Discovery.
Enter the discovery interval in the Interval in minutes text box.
Click Update.
Incident Reporting
CMP allows you to automatically create incident ticket in your ServiceNow or Jira account by integrating the two platforms. You can create this integration on a tenant level or multi-tenant setup.
Incident Reporting: JIRATM
To configure the Incident Reporting through JIRATM :
Login as Tenant Admin.
Navigate to GOVERNANCE & SECURITY > SETTINGS. The discovery page with four tabs is displayed.
Click the Incident Reporting tab. The relevant section is displayed.
Use the toggle button to Enable Settings.
From the Client dropdown menu, select JIRA.
Enter a valid email address in the Email text box.
Enter the API token in the API token text box.
To generate an API token:
Log in to https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens .
Click Create API token.
In the dialog box that appears, enter an appropriate Label for your token and click Create.
Click Copy to clipboard and use it as an API token.
Enter a valid URL in the URL text box.
Click Get Projects and select the relevant project from the Project dropdown menu.
Click Submit.
Note: To reset the settings, click Reset.
Incident Reporting: ServiceNowTM
To configure the Incident Reporting through ServiceNowTM:
Login as Tenant Admin.
Navigate to GOVERNANCE & SECURITY > SETTINGS. The discovery page with four tabs is displayed.
Click the Incident Reporting tab. The relevant section is displayed.
Use the toggle button to Enable Settings.
Select ServiceNow from the Client dropdown menu.
Enter a valid username in the Username text box.
Click Submit.
ServiceNow settings is done by Cloud Admin.
To enable the auto creation of tickets for the non-compliant security policy rules:
Navigate to Governance & Security -> Security Policies.
Click +Create Policy.
Enter the details and click Next.
Select the rules that have non-compliant resources and click Next.
Under the Incident Ticket Settings section, toggle the Auto create tickets for non-compliant rules button.
Click Next, and then click Submit.
