Sharing Resources through Entitlement
Overview
HyperCloud™ Platform (HCP) allows users to share the resources among themselves through the entitlement feature. Using this feature an owner of a resource can share it with other users or users group.
Following resources can be shared using entitlement.
Application and Machine Blue-Prints
To share an application or machine blue-prints:
Login to your HCP account.
Navigate to Service Orchestration> App Store> Open the desired blue print > Edit > Entitled Users.
Your available options are:
Only me (The blueprint is private and is not visible to other users.)
Everyone (The blueprint is visible to all tenant users.)
Groups and Users (The blueprint is visible to specific users & groups.)
Resource Pool
Note: Resource Pools can be created and shared by administrators only.
To share a resource pool within your tenancy:
Login to your HCP account.
Navigate to Service Orchestration > Quota Management > Resource Pool > Open the desired resource pool > Assigned To.
Your available options are:
Only me (The resource pool is private and is not visible to other users.)
Users and Groups (The resource pool is visible to specific users & groups.)
Key pair and password Stores
To share your credential key-pair and password store:
Login to your HCP account.
Navigate to Service Orchestration > Services > Credential Store > Open a desired store > Entitled Users.
Your options available are:
Only me (The store is private and is not visible to other users.)
Groups and Users (The store is visible to specific users & groups.)
Subnet
To share your subnets among users:
Login to your HCP account.
Navigate to Services Orchestration > Services > Networks > Subnet > Open the desired subnet.
Your available options are:
Only me (The store is private and is not visible to other users.)
Groups and Users (The store is visible to specific users & groups.)
Everyone (All the users in that tenancy)
Note: While using the Users options, ensure to add all the desired users including yourself (owner).
