Overview

Following is the process for implementing Cost Governance implementation for CSP on the HyperCloud™ Platform.

6.8 Enhancements

CSP Classic Subscription (Microsoft Azure (0145P) subscription)

In the 6.8 release, reconciliation logic will be further refined where we will reconcile records from the invoice usage data instead of revisiting the records.

Each month as a new invoice gets available, MS provides a reconciliation file for the invoice. HCP will use this information for reconciling past month’s data against invoice data.

Recently, in one of the customer's deployment, we found cost and usage data missing for a couple of days at the end of a couple of months. This seems to be due to delay in reconciliation of data at the end of the month. To solve this, we have increased the frequency of reconciliation of previous month consumption data. We now reconcile previous month consumption data on every 2^nd/4^th/8^th day of month.
