Overview


This topic describes how to create and manage a service account using identity and access management. Before you onboard your Google Cloud Account(GCP), you’ll need to configure the GCP console, and create BigQuery Data Viewer and jobUser.

Note: Governance and Security are not available for Google Cloud accounts at the time of writing this document.

Prerequisites for onboarding Google Cloud Account


  1. In GCP Console, under IAM & admin, create a service account with the roles BigQuery Data Viewer and jobUser. Create a Key and select Type = JSON. Save the JSON file for later.

  2. In GCP Console, under Billing > Billing export > Enable billing export to BigQuery and provide a name for billing dataset.

  3. In GCP Console, obtain the Table ID of the billing dataset and obtain the data location.

Onboarding Google Cloud Account to HyperCloud™


  1. Login to HyperCloud™ SaaS portal using a valid credential.

  2. Under the Administration Tab, click on Account Management > Select GCP > Click on Add Account.
