Overview


A Cloud Administrator (CA) can generate Billing Statements from the billing view for all customers in the partner account. This report is generated per invoice, and has versioning based on the time and date it was generated. This report can be downloaded in PDF format.

Partner Billing View


To view Partner Billing:

  1. Login to your HCP account.

  2. Navigate to Administration > CSP Management > Select the Billing Tab.

    Billing details will be displayed in the invoice view. The CA can choose the desired invoice so as to download billing report. There are two columns: Customer Currency and Partner Currency

  3. On selecting an invoice, a detail page the invoice break-up cost per customer will be displayed. There are two columns: Customer Currency and Partner Currency.

Billing Report Generation

  • Select a CSP Customer from the invoice detail screen to further view spending cost break-up per Invoice per customer for all the offers that a customer is subscribed to (CSP Subscriptions).

  • Report can be downloaded in two formats: PDF and Excel.

Excel Report

Click on the Download button to access the report in excel format as seen on the UI screen.

Since spending could change for resources as per the consumption and usage from time to time, there might be slight differences in report data and the data reflected on the UI screens. Billing Report will enable users to capture and retain spending for the customer at a particular time, and can always check-back on those reports as well as download them.

 

Billing Report
  • Billing report generation is available to the CA to generate reports as per the spending for every customer.

    • This enables CA/CSP Partners to keep track of spending for a customer as well as charge-back references in PDF format.

  • Every billing report is a summary of all charges across the program, products, and customers for the selected billing period (Invoice).

    • This report is available within the HCP portal for downloads.

    • Every report once generated obtains a version number and will be always available for downloads.

 


Billing Report Generation

To generate the billing report for G type invoices:

  1. Login to the portal with the necessary credentials.

  2. Navigate to ADMINISTRATION > CSP MANAGEMENT. The Dashboard page is displayed.

3. Click the Billing tab that is next to the Dashboard tab. The Accounts page is displayed.

4. From the Account Name drop-down list, select the required account. The relevant accounts and the associated details are displayed in a tabular format.

5. Hover the mouse pointer over a row, with the Invoice Id starting from G, and click. The companies associated with the selected invoice are displayed in a tabular format.

6. Hover the mouse pointer over a row with the company of your choice, and click. A table with the associated plans (subscriptions) are displayed.

7. Click INVOICE. The Invoice window is displayed from where the following actions can be performed:

  • An invoice can be downloaded.

  • A new invoice can be generated.

    • Click +ADD REPORT to generate a new invoice.

  • An existing invoice can be deleted.
