An expected Application is not present in the IT Explorer results.

If the appliance configured to scan the target has not got a synchronized catalog, update it: iQCloud - Catalog Not Synchronized.

The identification rule for the Application may not have been executed on the Appliance if it is out of sync.

If the catalog is in sync then validate that the process used to identify the Application has been successfully gathered by the scan:


If the process is present and the catalog is in sync then the identification rule should be inspected.

Go to the Application row that contains the identification rule and left click the the custom/default icon (depending on which is in use)


Select the rule appropriate for the device operating system in question and left click "view".


The when condition of the rule here describes a regex match with the process name & commandline column values visible in the Process Screen pictured above.

If the identification rule logic appears correct, then the issue will need to escalated.
