Under certain circumstances the iQSonar may crash without writing enough information to the service log or to the windows event log for the developers to diagnose the fault. In these circumstances we may request the customer to generate a windows crash dump file. 

Step-by-step guide

In order to generate a crash dump, you need to modify certain registry settings on the windows host. Instructions for which registry settings are required are found in an MSDN article

  2. Once the dump file has been created, your iQuate support contact will give you instructions on how to send it to us. Usually this will be a OneDrive link.
