Overview


Your Microsoft Azure Account lets you deploy, build, and manage your applications from anywhere using your preferred language and framework. Before you provision your Microsoft Azure account, you'll need to onboard your CSP account.

Before You Begin

  1. Ensure that your Azure account is a Microsoft CSP account.

  2. Obtain your CSP account ID. Visit the Microsoft Partner Network and:

    1. Click on the User Profile on the top left > Select View Account > Partner Profile.

    2. Copy the Microsoft ID (Account ID.)
      Example: a478f132-3bd7-496d-9b4f-337e88c68c7e.

  3. Ensure that the service account used for onboarding the CSP Account in HyperCloud™ Platform has the Admin Agent permission.

Note

  • The HyperCloudTM Platform (HCP):

    • Will not make any changes to your CSP Customer Account or use the Admin-on-behalf-of capabilities at any point.

    • Will read information about billing, invoice and, customers' subscriptions, and usage.

Onboarding Your Microsoft Azure (Partner) Account


Follow these steps to onboard a Microsoft CSP Partner account onto the HCP portal:

  1. Log in to your HCP portal account.

  2. Click Administration and navigate to Account Management > Azure > CSP.

  3. Click on Add Account and enter the following information:

    1. Enter the Account Name.
      Example: Contoso CSP (US)

    2. Enter the Account ID.
      Example: a478f132-3bd7-496d-9b4f-337e88c68c7e

    3. Enter a value for the Microsoft Discount. [1] This is an optional field.

    4. Click Login with Microsoft to access your CPV account using an accent token.

    5. Review the permissions and select Accept. You’ve now onboarded your CSP Account on the HCP portal.

  4. Repeat Step-3 to add multiple CSP accounts.

Note

  • [1] This is the discount that Microsoft provides to your CSP Partner to calculate list prices.

    • Discounts do not apply to Microsoft Azure Plans.

Discovering CSP Customers


Once a CSP Account is added to the HCP portal successfully, your CSP Administrators can trigger a discovery of the customers. To trigger a discovery, use the following steps:

  1. Click on the Administration Tab > Account Management > Azure > CSP.

  2. Locate the CSP Account > Click on the ellipse menu [1] > Trigger Discover.

    3. The HCP portal will populate the dashboard with customers, and update the CSP customers discovered.

  • [1] Depending on the number of customers on your CSP account, the discovery process may take 30-60 minutes to complete.

CSP Dashboard Overview


The CSP dashboard provides a snapshot of the historical spending and services consumed by all CSP Customers.

  1. Log in to your HCP portal account.

  2. Navigate to Cloud Admin > Click Administration > CSP Management to load the CSP Dashboard.

  3. Select the Account ID from the drop-down menu.


    You'll be able to view your CSP dashboard, as illustrated in the image above.
