Services are not showing in IT Explorer

 Problem

Template preview shows results but in IT Explorer are not showing.

Catalog > Templates > Edit Template > Preview

This example the Preview shows 10. IT Explorer shows 9 overall

 

Templates in the ingestion hierarchy is lower than the Scan Jobs.

 Solution

  1. Make sure all Scan Jobs are completed and there is no active scans.

  2. Check Ingestion Lag time (in this case I deleted the ingestion pod to make sure)

  3. Catalog > Templates > Apply All and see if the Services numbers raise according to the preview.

  4. If that doesn’t resolve the issue - It would appear the ingestion/cassandra state was out of sync

  5.  http://kibana-hadm.k8s.iq3.cloudsphere.com/ is for accessing the hadm cluster. Details of all environments are here https://cloudsphere.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DEVOPS/pages/440172560
    You can use it to remove the index.
    CI index service can be restarted with BoteKube in #kubernetes
