Problem

Capture the details of what iQSonar looks for to measure Weblogic

Solution

iQSonar looks for the following elements to find details of the weblogic installation

  • BEAHOMELIST
  • Running Processes
  • config.xml and registry.xml files

Additional Information

iQSonar (v 2.14.x) will only find registred components in the registry.xml file. However, the Oracle UI to install new components write its entries into the config.xml file. iQSonar already reads the config.xml file, but for other reasons. There is an enhancement request to read and load the component entries in this file.
