iQCloud - Scan Type

There are two scan types that can be done to gather data about a ComputerSystem.

Partial:

A computer system that was identified in a non direct way.

E.g. Scanning the content of a VMWare VCenter would produce many "partial" computer systems.

These systems would contain only a subset of the desired data points a computer system could have.

Full:

A computer system that was identified in a direct way.

E.g. Making a connection directly to the device and running commands against it.

These systems should be fully realized in terms of data content.

When both of these situation occur within a data set, they should merge with each other.

It's important to note that a partial scan following a full scan will have the partial flag set even if there is a full data set there as it was the most recent scan.
