Overview

The Quick Start Guide introduces the HyperCloud™ – Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) for new users. This document provides the step by step walk through to configure CSP in HyperCloud Platform.
Target Audience
This document is intended to be used by new users who are public cloud administrators, who manage and administer public cloud environments and would like to simplify cloud management.

HyperCloud™ Platform enables Microsoft Control Panel Vendors (CPV) to onboard and manage CSP accounts. HyperCloud™ Platform will discover customer subscriptions and allow CPVs to perform billing and spending analysis for their customers.
HyperCloud™ Cloud Solution Provider program is a Microsoft initiated set up that lets you set your own prices and profit margins for reselling Office 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure, three of Microsoft's most popular products.
CSP is a way for partners to resell Microsoft products by working with Microsoft directly, or going through a trusted partner that is already a member of the CSP program. These two options are called Direct and Indirect CSP.

Before You Begin

  1. Ensure that Azure account is a Microsoft CSP (partner) account only

  2. Obtain the CSP Account ID

    1. Go to https://partner.microsoft.com/  Click on user profile on the top left and select View Account  Click on Partner Profile

    2. Copy the Microsoft ID (Account ID) for e.g. a478f132-3bd7-496d-9b4f-337e88c68c7e.

  3. Ensure that the service account used for onboarding the CSP Account in HyperCloud™ Platform has Admin Agent permission.

Note: HyperCloud™ Platform does not make changes to CSP Customer Accounts or use the Admin-on-behalf-of capabilities at any point. HyperCloud™ will only read information about billing, invoice and customers subscriptions and usage.
