Before you begin: You'll need to create a Cloud Account on your HCP portal. To know more, refer to the section on Cloud Account Management. |
To create a Google Cloud Platform Cloud Provider on the HCP portal:
Login to your HCP account.
Navigate to Service Orchestrations > Providers > New > Google Cloud.
Click the Cloud Account on which you want to create the Google Cloud Platform Provider. This will open the Resource Manager dialog for Google Cloud Platform.
Click on Load Regions.
Select the remote cloud provider region from the Region dropdown.
Enter a name for your Google Cloud Platform Provider Cloud Provider.
Click on Save Changes.
Saving your changes, triggers the resource discovery in the Account and Region you specified in the Resource Manager dialog above. This process includes the discovery of the networking details for your Google Cloud Platform Provider subscription.

Note: Whenever you make changes to your network settings on your Google Cloud Platform Provider Portal, you'll have to synchronize these changes in data between your Google Cloud Platform and HCP portal. To do that, you'll need to use the Refresh Info feature on the HCP portal. |
