The Cloud Management The HyperCloud™ Platform (CPMHCP) lets you manage your Virtual Machine (VM) lifecycle. The VM management User Interface allows owners to perform various operations as mentioned below.:

- Terminal
Terminal:
opensOpens the Linux Terminal to a VM, for issuing a command.
Add to a Cluster (private cloud only):
WeYou can add the created VM to an existing cluster if needed.
Start:
reRe-start a VM.
Stop:
stopStop a running
VMVM.
Destroy:
deleteDelete a VM. You'll not be able to delete a VM if your administrator has enabled the Termination Protection feature. A deletion request has to be approved by a Tenant Administrator.
Install VM Agent (private cloud only):
lets newlyLets newly registered hosts to establish communication with
CMPHCP and install the agent.
Resize:
letsLets you resize a VM. Clicking Resize opens up a
Warningwarning message that your CPU and memory may either increase or decrease. You can only increase the Disk size using Resize.
Change Owner:
isThis is a ROLE_VM_CHANGEUSER role-based feature and lets Tenant Administrators change the VM Owners.
Test Connection:
TestYou can test the connection between your VM and the
CMPHCP portal. You can only test a connection if you have a
CMP VMHCP VM agent installed on your VM.

To perform an operation on a VM:
Login to your
CMPHCP account.
Navigate to Service Orchestration > Services > VMs > Click on the ':' next to a VM record, to open the operations drop-down list.
