To create an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Provider on the CMP HCP portal:
- Login to your CMP HCP account.
- Navigate to Service Orchestrations > Providers > New > Amazon AWS.
- Click the Cloud Account on which you want to create the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Provider.
This will open the Resource Manager dialog for Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Click Load Regions.
- Select the remote cloud provider region from the Region dropdown.
Enter a name for your Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Provider.
Click Save Changes.
Saving your changes, triggers the resource discovery in the Account and Region you specified in the Resource Manager dialog above. This process includes the discovery of the networking details for your Amazon Web Services (AWS) subscription.

Whenever you make changes to your network settings on your Amazon Web Services (AWS) Portal, you'll have to synchronize these changes in data between your Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CMP HCP portal. To do that, you'll need to use the Refresh Info feature on the CMP HCP portal. |
