The Cloud Management HyperCloud™ Platform (CMPHCP) lets Cloud and Tenant Administrators setup feature access via User Roles. Below is the list of user roles you can create to enable features.

ROLE_USERA normal tenant user
ROLE_TENANT_ADMIN

Role of a Tenant Administrator who:

  • Manages tenants of an organization or a department.
  • Onboards tenant users, assign roles, and enables features.
  • Creates and manages resources (Cloud Providers and Resource Quota & Pools) for tenant users.
  • Approves resource usage when quotas are overshot.
ROLE_CLOUD_ADMIN

Role of a Cloud Administrator who:

  • Has all privileges and no restrictions, like a Super Administrator.
  • Onboards tenants.
  • Creates and allocates cloud providers and resources for tenants.
ROLE_PILOT

This role is obsolete and will be deprecated.

ROLE_GOVERNANCE_COMPLIANCEThis role is used to provide tenant user(other than TA) access to "Governance & Security" module.
ROLE_COST_PROFILEThis role is used to provide tenant user(other than TA) access to "App Store>Cost Profile" module.
ROLE_VM_KIOSK_SIZEThis role is used to provide user access to App Store>Blueprint/Plugins and Service>VM module only. This role bypass all other user roles and the user has only ability to create VM only using blueprint and can change the size of VM from blueprint.
ROLE_VM_KIOSK_IMAGEThis role is used to provide user access to App Store>Blueprint/Plugins and Service>VM module only. This role bypass all other user roles and the user has only ability to create VM only using blueprint and can change the image of VM from blueprint.
ROLE_VM_DELETE_RECYCLE_BIN

This role provides access to user to delete VMs from recycle bin.

ROLE_VM_CHANGE_OWNER

This role provides access to user to change owner of the VM.

The users who has same resource pool entitlement are eligible for becoming owner 


ROLE_CLOUD_ADMIN_IMPERSONATEThis role provides access to HyperCloud tenant Cloud Admin user to impersonate other tenants.
ROLE_PLUGIN_PUBLISHERThis role provides access to user to publish their plugins created to "All Tenants" from entitlement section.
ROLE_COST_MANAGEMENTThis role is used to provide tenant user(other than TA) access to "IAC" module.

This role is used to provide tenant user(other than TA) access to "IAC" module.

To change the user role, Navigate to Administration >Users > select the user to edit. Select the desired role and click 'Save Changes'.
